Book Review

Wasn't it amazing? I really liked it, too.

He has a book of short stories out (20th Century Ghosts) but I didn't like that as much as the novel.

I'm very excited b/c this is the next book on my to-read shelf.
It was. I thought to myself as I read it that Mr. Hill's initial effort almost resulting in a near perfect horror novel. I enjoyed the way he interspersed rock into the story such as the names of the dogs, etc. Since it took me two days to read it, I'm guessing you read it in 38 minutes.
I was impressed w/ what I call the readability of this novel. It may be because this is his initial offering that he went straight to a story and didn't spend a great deal of time of trying to paint a picture. Some authors want you to see the landscape and smell the flowers. I admire that in its place but sometimes I just want a scary story. Hope you enjoy it.

I think two days was about right for me too. :) I'm really not as fast as people think.

(That's what she said.)

my mom is a stephen king fan and she suggested this book to me..it sounds really interesting. i read my first stephen king book recently and of course i had nightmares for a week! i'm sure his son could do the same thing for me

is his wife also a writer?
Stephen's wife Tabitha is also a writer but I haven't read any of her work. Which book of his did you read?
Ah, that's her name, I couldn't remember.

The Cell, which was a little ridiculous because I think zombies are lame, but it did scare me! And it kept me interested the entire time
